PostMaker Use Case
In this Use Case, we are going to look at a simple way to create posts that offer up a question for our audience to compare two different ‘things’ - you could think of it as a way to make some of our questions for the ‘Would you rather…’ game.
I like these sorts of posts as they open up some fun discussions and allow you to reach different audiences quite easily. You can be pretty conservative with your questions or go a bit more ludicrous. Just have a play with whatever fits with your audience.
There are so many different ‘things’ we could compare
We will look at Celebrities, something pretty generic, but hopefully, we will give you some ideas that you can apply to your niche.
The idea is super simple and is going to follow a pretty basic pattern - we will aim for something like this
Would you rather [activity] with [celebrity] or [activity] with [anotherCelebrity]?
for example
Would you rather go for a drink with Daniel Craig or watch a movie with Britney Spears?
OK, so we have our basic format, it’s time to do some research.
The first thing I will do is try and hunt for a list of Celebrities; I searched for ‘celebrity names copy paste.’ - it’s not a great list, but it’s a list of 117 people that others would have heard of.
Thanks to PlayMeo for the list - Celebrity Names List
Next up, I will find a list of ‘Things to do before you die’ because that sounds quite exciting!
Again, it might not be a perfect list but I found 81 things to do
By using the syntax we used earlier this creates a whopping 89813529 potential posts but I will limit my results to just 300
Here’s an example of our output
Would you rather Visit the Colosseum in Rome, the world’s largest amphitheatre. This historical gladiatorial arena is one of the Seven Wonders of the World with Brad Pitt or Walk down the Great Wall of China with Kim Kardashian?
Would you rather Go whitewater rafting in Maine with Amadeus Mozart or See the Grand Canyon and walk the Skywalk with Kayne West?
Try it at no cost.
